	Apostle Darius Twagirayesu, pictured with his wife Mwaka, is founder of International Hope for Rwanda, a Christian ministry that seeks to care for the 600,000 plus Rwandan orphans of the 1994 genocide. The majority of the population of Rwanda are children and young adults who have been victimized by the genocide. International Hope for Rwanda's goal is to provide love and care for the children in the form of orphanages and schools.

Orphans: 15% of children are orphans because of the genocide. Aids: 2% of the population are HIV orphans because of the genocide. Women: 250,000 were raped during the genocide. Life Expectancy: Is 39 years. Income: 85% of the population live on less than $2 a day.

To rebuild the lives of all Rwandans, specifically orphans, widows and those infected with HIV, to become productive citizens through education and skill development, better nutrition and improved health care services.
