In his book, My Utmost for His Highest, (Oswald Chambers: 1963), Chambers shared some thoughts on vision that are paraphrased here:

  • We must always have a vision before it can be made real.
  • Be sure that our vision is not ours alone but has God's input through prayer.
  • When we have a God-based vision that we believe in, Satan will attempt to put roadblocks in the way, tempting us to believe that it is not possible to achieve.
  • If our vision has God's input, never settle for less.
  • A vision that has God's input will not turn out to be a castle in the sky, but something real to make the world a better place to be.
  • Every vision will be made real if we have patience and don't lose heart.

Vision Statement: To rebuild the lives of all Rwandans, specifically orphans, widows and those infected with HIV, to become productive citizens through education and skill development, better nutrition and improved health care services.
